I know this isn’t a special thing for most of you but it is for us: This morning we woke up to this:
Finn’s first snow ever and my first snowman in Ireland…even if it meant to use up all the snow in the garden.
The sun came out shortly after we finished the snowman and it’s dripping and melting everywhere around us. But it was a nice surprise this morning…

Beautiful winter pictures, Halina! Your new camera really pays off =) And it’s this sudden irish winter why we’re still stuck in Munich XD Loads of flights to Dublin being cancelled due to the weather conditions… fingers crossed we can go back tonight!
I suppose you got plenty of snow in Munich anyway…it’s getting less here again so should be able to fly tonight. Hope you had a great time in Germany! See you when you get back…:)
You certainly are putting your new camera to very good use. I’m surprised you had so much snow up there. We had none that lay down here in Sallybrook – just melted when it hit the ground. We hope you have no more mornings with frozen pipes.
Thank you Frances, sorry that I didn’t reply earlier. I just discovered your comment again. The days of snow and frozen pipes are over (thankfully) and I hope they won’t return for a while.
But it was definitely fun to build our first Irish snowman out here! xx
